It has just been brought to my attention that I have failed to acknowledge Tucuman empanadas as the best in the country. I apologise unreservedly and bow down before those juicy, delicious little parcels of goodness.
They look amazing! recipe please :) I always thought they were deep fried, but they looked baked? More culinary posts and food pics please... We can be with you in spirit and stomach!
They´re seriously yummy!! Served fried or baked, but the baked ones are the best. They do them in a big bee-hive shaped oven! I´ll see if I can get Santiago to get me a recipe for me! Otherwise google empanadas al horno and maybe you can find one in english!
